Power Boating
- Ithaca Sail & Power Squadron, Inc. "The Ithaca Sail & Power Squadron (ISPS) is a member of USPS and is part of District 6 which includes 18 squadrons throughout central and western New York State. ISPS was chartered in 1941 and has a current membership of both sail and power boaters. It is governed by a "Bridge" which is elected annually. ISPS encourages those taking an USPS public boating course or seminar to apply for membership in the squadron."

Sailing
- Cornell University Sailing Camp. " Our sailing camps features two three hour sessions each day (Sundays have one four hour session). Each session begins at Cornell's marina on Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, NY. Campers learn the skills and techniques needed to become a knowledgeable sailor through expert demonstration and hands on sailing. They will execute new sailing skills each day when they man Cornell's modern sailboat fleet. The fleet includes eight Vanguard Racing 14' Intercollegiate 420's, a J24', a Pierson 26' sailboat and two 26ft Rangers.
Resident camp includes lodging and meals in one of our award-winning dining halls. Resident campers also have fun while participating in evening recreation Sunday-Wednesday evenings. Recreational activities include recreational sports, swimming, miniature golf, batting cages, bowling, movies, nature walks and go-carting. Commuter campers receive all of the same sailing instruction as residents."
